Repointing Services in Chesterfield, Yorkshire

Who repoints brickwork in Chesterfield?

If the mortar in your walls is crumbling, cracked or sitting well back from the brick face, it's no longer doing its job. Yorkshire Pointing Specialists provides repointing and brickwork repairs in Chesterfield, working on houses, rental properties and commercial buildings throughout the area.

What kind of properties do we work on in Chesterfield?

Just over the border from Sheffield, Chesterfield has a blend of red-brick terraces, stone-built homes and period properties with original lime mortar. Each of these types of property ages differently, and the right mortar for one is not always right for another.

Older stone and brick here often needs a breathable lime mix rather than hard cement, and we always check before we start.

How do we approach each job?

Before we quote, we visit, look closely at the brick or stone, the existing joints and any signs of damp, and then recommend a traditional lime mortar or a suitable sand and cement mix. We match the joint profile and mortar colour so the finished wall looks consistent and in keeping with the street.

With around fifteen years of pointing experience and a 15-year guarantee on our workmanship, we aim to do the job properly the first time. Site visits and written quotes are always free and come with no obligation. Get a free quote.
